Leeds Met has launched "When Leeds Met Monopoly", a twice world-record attempt Monopoly for the greatest number of people playing in a Monopoly Competition and the longest Monopoly tournament. The competition aims to raise £ 250,000 for the community and voluntary work in support of Corporate Planning of the University and the statement of vision and character. The challenge on Thursday 27 November at the Leeds City Museum was set up and expects 8000 participants, aims at,to build awareness of local and international volunteer work at Leeds Met and the University of partnerships with industry. Mystery and spot prizes will be given during the runs and quarter-final stage of the tournament. These prices will be posted on the website and through the media. The other participants get, the better they win the prizes, with the general "When Leeds Met Monopoly 'Champion 2009 to win a family holiday worth £ 6000th The tournament will cost £ 30to enter, each participant will receive a free T-shirt. Applications may also be in teams of five to 150 pounds made for the group and this will include a version of Monopoly Leeds. Registration is available from December 2008 through February 2009.
