People Dying of Starvation -- too many people die unnecessarily! The number of people dying of starvation a year, worldwide, is 9 million. "same time in my tears I drown" is exactly how I feel. || MY TYPE = I don't like money. The concept bothers me. it is either paper or digits in a computer. and this paper, these digits, have taken the lives of more human beings than anything else. I don't like money. I measure in... cheeseburgers and... time based life units. my truck is worth 1000 dollars. That is 1000 cheeseburgers on the dollar menu. Or I measuer in time based life units. For every eight hours of work, I can buy 8 cheeseburgers. So that is 748800 working hours (40 hours times 52 weeks times 45 working hours) over a life time. I started thinking how many human beings this could feed... the world produces in GDP 61 trillion dollars a year. If the average person could be sustained on 3 cheeseburgers a day, the worlds production could fee 55 billion human beings. (61 trillion divided by 3 times 365). There are 7 billion human beings in the world. and the united nations reports 9 million human beings die a year of starvation and a third of the population is starving and another thrid is undernourished.
